The Computer Suite
The Computer Suite is a resource centre available for support and guidance. The role of the facilitators and IT Assistants is to assist members of the public who use the computers to develop their skills in software applications, or, who through the use of the computer can increase their likelihood of gaining employment.

There are three part-time Facilitators in the Computer Suite. Kathleen Gormley is the Senior Facilitator and is funded through Inishowen Development Partnership. The other two Assistant Facilitators are funded through Fás Community Employment. Currently Mary O’ Donnell and Angela McDaid occupy these roles.
It is possible for those using the Computer Suite to do so on an individual basis, as part of a class or a combination of both. The Computer Suite is equipped with an up – to – date operating system with access to Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Access, Desktop Publishing, Outlook Express, Adobe Photoshop and Ms PowerPoint.

We are also a drop in centre whereby people can come for help on a one-to-one basis and become familiar with the various programs needed e.g. typing letters, documents, posters, Internet and email etc.
We also have customized training both Basic/Advanced for clients with Special needs.
The Suite is open five days per week Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Time tables are available on request detailing days and times of structured classes and open access times.

The service Kathleen provides is free however; there is a small charge for printing and the use of the Internet.
You do not need to be signing on the Live Register. The Computer Suite is open to men and women and there is no age limit.
