Youth Development
The Objective of the Youth Programme is to provide support and guidance for the growing needs of youth groups in the Inishowen area.
Our aims are to:
- Resource and support community and voluntary organisations
- Provide services for youth deemed at risk by addressing social and personal development work in partnership with local communities.
- Provide tailored training/support for youth leaders and progression routes for individuals engaged in youth development - based on equality and inclusion.
- Facilitate youth development using a multi-disciplinary approach to promote best practice, quality training based on the needs of the youth population.
- Co-ordinate activities within the youth sector.
- Inform policies in relation to good practice and research findings.
- Explore opportunities for Cross Border projects.
